For our girl's night in, we took off on Wednesday and stayed at a friends beach cabin up North. It was SO nice of them to let us have it and it was SO nice to get away mid week, Play hooky from school and soccer and get some family time in. Two of my sisters are here from California. It was just one night but it was great to get to be all together. My mom, Aunt Linnie, my Sissies; Tiff, Mal and Kel, cousin Steph, and my own kiddos. We laughed, we cried, we ate, we drank, we danced and talked. IT WAS A BALL!
Sally the Seacrow is our family tradition dating back to when we were little kids. She is a scarecrow made from sea things. We use driftwood and seaweed grasses and whatever else we can find. She is different in looks every time but her spirit is always the same. We just welcome her back again and again :)
