Cam loves the Wild Kratts. It is a show on PBS each weekday at 4pm (here) They teach about animals and habitats etc. The Kratt Brothers used to have the show Zooboombafoo, Cam is completely enthralled every time the show is on. So this is the theme we are going with.
I ALWAYS pick a theme for my parties. Whether it is a color, place, or theme like this, it doesn't matter. One time I based an entire birthday party off a napkin I saw :) To me it helps pull a whole party together.

#2 Send a cute email invitation from www.punchbowl.com
#3 Rent a jungle bouncy house
#4 Cam wants his friends to have CREATURE POWER SUITS like Chris and Martin Kratt so my thinking cap is on. They have cheap shirts at the craft store, blue and green shirts? some fabric paint? still thinking :)
#5 Cam also wants them to get a CREATURE POD this is something I think he has made up in his mind, but it is something he draws himself all the time, so I will be designing some sort of hand held device and creating one for each of the kids to his specifications of course :)
#6 Menu plan - I'm thinking easy, BBQish menu, that I can turn into a jungle theme...I'll keep you posted!
Considering I really am the biggest procrastinator on Earth, I know I can pull this off. I usually don't go shop for my parties until the day or 2 before anyways. Luckily we have great friends and family, who are able to make this work on such short notice! I will keep you all posted on my progress!
Let's Party!

Wow ! U r brave! Sounds like U have everything under control :). I like ur invitation , can u please tell me how u did it?
Since there are NO Wild Kratt Birthday products. I looked EVERYWHERE!I went on punchbowl.com and picked a kid birthday invite that had a space for an image. Then I Googled Free Wild Kratt Images. My computer let me cut and paste it into my photo program. Then I was able to upload it onto the invitation, just like a normal photo. If you also check out on my older post list- on June 6, I posted pictures from the party "Cam's Creature Adventure" and it includes how we made the creature power suits and creature pods. If you are interested...
