Last bit of Thanksgiving leftovers...

Turkey with noodles aka Chicken with noodles with turkey :)

So I have to thank my mother in law, for this recipe. Thanks Jan :) It is a family favorite from Joe's side she passed on to me. On a normal day I would actually boil an entire chicken until it was literally falling off the bone. But everything else is the same. You can add salt, pepper, I threw some carrots in and that was it. Joe's aunt Nancy, let us in on the idea to throw the turkey carcass into the Crock Pot. I put it in covered with water and left it for 5 hours. If you are using a raw chicken I would do it for at least 5 hours on high or all day (7-8+ hours) on low.

By the time I got home this evening I just strained the liquid from the Crock pot into a regular pot and brought to a boil on the stove. When it did, I added Reames Egg Noodles. Cooked them through. While they cooked I picked the turkey meat off and threw that into the pot as well. You will want to really season this but it is a yummy, easy, warm meal fro a cold winter night. Enjoy!
