Maddie the Manicurist

 Maddie came up from the basement and said "Mama I paint my nails" I wasn't looking at her at that moment and when I heard those words I really didn't want to. When I finally got the courage to look up I saw this...

At this point she handed me green nail polish and said she wanted more. "Uhhh No." At first I thought she was bleeding! Thank Goodness that she was in our unfinished basement when she did this. I had this horrifying feeling though thinking "Oh No are there red footprints coming up my carpeted stairs?!?!" I made the big kids go check. I didn't have it in me. Thank goodness, there were not.

It took A LOT of nail polish remover to get all this off. She did not like that at all. Hopefully she'll keep that little nugget in the back of her brain next time she decides to play nail salon. What are the chances of that really though :)
